Ras el Hanout means ‘the head of the store’. No two ras el hanout are the same because everyone uses their own recipe. We supply two versions, both with the fantastic flavours of Vanilla Venture. A savoury version and a sweet version. This is the savoury ras el hanout, with cumin, fennel, aniseed, star anise, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, grains of paradise and dried rose petals. You can use our sweet ras el hanout in cakes, biscuits, to add a spicy kick to coffee and hot chocolate, or to enhance the flavour of sweet roasted vegetables, such as pumpkin, carrots, and other root vegetables.
